“When the Israelites set up camp, each tribe will be assigned its own area. The tribal divisions will camp beneath their family banners on all four sides of the Tabernacle” (Numbers 2:2 NLT).

WHAT’S AT THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE?

The Lord instructed the Israelites to set up camp with the Tabernacle at the center. Their tents were to face inward toward the place of worship, not outward toward the world. Worship was to be the center of individual and community life. All of daily life was to revolve around the worship of God.

The apostle Paul wrote, “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men” (Col. 3:23). Whether we are working or resting, eating or sleeping, whatever we do, we can do it to the glory of God, if Christ is at the center of it.

PRAYER: Dear Father, we renew our praise again today. For we desire that everyday of our lives, we would offer You worship and praise in every activity we do. May You delight in us as we delight in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
