“In Christ Jesus.” When judgment fell on the earth during the great flood only those “in” the Ark were saved. The rain of God’s wrath fell on the Ark, but Noah and his family were kept safe inside. Jesus is our Ark. He took our sin, our separation and our death upon Himself, so that we might receive His righteousness, Sonship, and eternal life. Jesus took our condemnation (Rom. 8:3-4). There is none left for those who are “in” Christ. God’s judgment was satisfied, His wrath appeased at Calvary’s cross.
As the hymn, “In Christ Alone” (by Getty and Townsend), says:
“Till on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live.”

There are days when we don’t know what to pray. Perhaps we feel overwhelmed or spiritually dry. Some days we are really wanting God’s best, but we lack the clarity to know how to pray for it. Whatever our state, as believers we have the Spirit as our Counselor and Friend. He knows what to pray. Say, “Spirit of God, please pray for me.” Then, listen to hear what He says.

The Holy Spirit abides in believers, so that He knows us better than we know ourselves. And He knows God’s perfect will for us too. Even when we don’t know how to pray, He intercedes for us.

Have you ever noticed how quickly a new mother forgets her labor as she holds her infant in her arms? So shall we forget our present troubles when we see Christ at His return.

God has spent His wrath for our sin upon Christ. When God judged the earth with a flood, those “in” the Ark were saved. Jesus is our Ark! All who are “in” Him will not see condemnation. Do you know what it means to be “in” Christ?
