“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32 NLT)

From: May 16, 2014

Jesus said this to those who believed in him. Those who did not believe declared that they were never slaves, so why did they need set free. But Jesus told them that whoever sins is a slave to sin. Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6).

“I tell you the truth,’ Jesus answered, ‘before Abraham was born, I am'” (John 8:58)

From: May 16, 2011

Jesus claimed pre-existence to Abraham and more. By using the phrase “I am,” he claimed to be God. This is the Name that God gave Moses at the burning bush. Not “I was.” Nor “I will be,” But “I am.” Self-existent. Eternally present. God.
