OUR CHANGE OF STATUS AS GOD’S CHILDREN<\/h3>\n\n\n

Receiving Christ’s sacrifice on the cross as payment for our sins we are made children of God. This spiritual transaction changes our status in at least three ways: <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
1) Righteousness – Christ took our sin upon Himself and the Father counted His righteousness as ours for our justification.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
2) Eternal Life – Christ took our death, so we might have eternal life. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
3) Sonship – Christ was forsaken by the Father, so that we might be adopted as children of God. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Christ died to accomplish this and He arose, so that He might lead us into this salvation. Receiving salvation our status is changed forever. And Jesus is “not ashamed” to call us His own.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
