The Word was with God, and the Word was God&#8221; (John 1:1 NLT)."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THE WORD THAT WALKED AMONG US <\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"6ou4m\" data-offset-key=\"7r11o-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"7r11o-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7r11o-0-0\">John began his gospel as Moses began the Torah, &#8220;In the beginning\u2026&#8221; This signals the lofty aspect of John&#8217;s gospel that clearly proclaims Jesus as God&#8217;s Son. Using the Greek for &#8220;word&#8221; (\u03bb\u03cc\u03b3\u03bf\u03c2, logos), John proclaims Jesus as not only equal to God in every way (essence, preexistence, eternality, creator, unity\u2026), but also the ultimate revelation of God to humanity. As the &#8220;Word&#8221; He is the very communication of God, superior even to the revelation that Moses carried down from Mount Sinai. The law came through Moses, but the free gift of life and the full revelation of God came through Christ (John 1:17). <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"6ou4m\" data-offset-key=\"7pjua-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"7pjua-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"7pjua-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"6ou4m\" data-offset-key=\"e0fvm-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"e0fvm-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"e0fvm-0-0\">If you want to see God, look upon Jesus. If you want to know God, know Jesus. If you want to be right with God, receive Jesus. Got Jesus? Got life (1 John 5:12). We worship and adore Him as our Lord and Savior. We meditate on Him and His ministry that we might know You better. Fill us with the Spirit of Christ and empower us to serve as His Body in this world.
