He held nothing back in his prayers. Like a child insistently crying for his mother&#8217;s attention, David made his complaint known to the Lord. He would not be content until the Lord answered. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"7l76f\" data-offset-key=\"1qf64-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1qf64-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1qf64-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"7l76f\" data-offset-key=\"4ev7b-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"4ev7b-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4ev7b-0-0\">Have you seen a child in such a state? Nothing will do but his own mother&#8217;s touch. Even though another family member tries to comfort the child, his wailing grows more persistent. This is how David prayed for the Lord to &#8220;come quickly.&#8221; <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"7l76f\" data-offset-key=\"9rana-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"9rana-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"9rana-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"7l76f\" data-offset-key=\"bj0kl-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bj0kl-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bj0kl-0-0\">On this Christmas Eve we remember that the Lord has come. Yet, we also look for Him to come again.
