Since they don\u2019t recognize themselves as a sinner, they don\u2019t feel any need for a Savior.<\/p>\n<p>It is this tension between grace and law, promise and performance, that Paul addresses most clearly today.\u00a0In chapter 3 of Galatians, Paul taught the Galatian churches that while God\u2019s law had its purpose and place, salvation had always depended on God\u2019s promise, not human performance.
