He is the only one in Scripture to be called a \u201cman after God\u2019s own heart.\u201d There are more chapters in the Old Testament about David than anyone else. And this poet, musician, shepherd, warrior, king has more mentions in the New Testament than any other Old Testament\u00a0figure. Yet, David wasn\u2019t perfect. He was a man after God\u2019s heart, but still a man nonetheless. David was zealous, humble and focused, yet he was still a sinner.
