{"id":13642,"date":"2025-10-05T07:04:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T11:04:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.garycombs.org\/blog\/?post_type=message&#038;p=13642"},"modified":"2025-10-09T07:06:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T11:06:12","slug":"a-greater-faith","status":"publish","type":"message","link":"https:\/\/www.garycombs.org\/blog\/message\/a-greater-faith","title":{"rendered":"A Greater Faith"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You\u2019ve probably heard someone say, \u201cKeep the faith.\u201d In our culture, that usually means, \u201cStay positive,\u201d or \u201cDon\u2019t give up hope.\u201d But notice what\u2019s missing\u2014it never defines the object of that faith. No wonder so many today are \u201cdeconstructing\u201d their faith, pulling it apart piece by piece until nothing remains, because if faith is only a vague feeling or a cultural inheritance, why hold on to it?<\/p>\n<p>But biblical faith is different. It\u2019s not about how hard you believe\u2014it\u2019s about who you believe in. It\u2019s not great faith in God that matters, but faith in a great God.
