{"id":13195,"date":"2025-03-30T10:02:20","date_gmt":"2025-03-30T14:02:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.garycombs.org\/blog\/?post_type=message&#038;p=13195"},"modified":"2025-04-10T10:10:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T14:10:28","slug":"living-as-kingdom-people","status":"publish","type":"message","link":"https:\/\/www.garycombs.org\/blog\/message\/living-as-kingdom-people","title":{"rendered":"Living as Kingdom People"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, we studied the Beatitudes, the blessings of Kingdom living in Matthew 5:1-12. <\/p>\n<p>Today, we\u2019ll be looking at Mathew 5:13-16, which as Dr. Danny Akin says, \u201cflows naturally out of the Beatitudes.\u201d For as he says it is \u201ctaking on and exhibiting the character of the Beatitudes that makes it possible for us to be salt and light on the earth\u201d <\/p>\n<p>While the Beatitudes describe the inner character and blessed state of those who follow Jesus as King, these next verses describe how we are to live as Kingdom people outwardly in this world.<\/p>\n<p>How are we to live as Kingdom people? What does Jesus have to say about this?
