For some the word is \u201cBoring,\u201d as they remember long-winded lists of prayer requests for Aunt Sally\u2019s brother-in-law\u2019s, neighbor\u2019s dog. For others, the word is \u201cFear,\u201d because you\u2019ve never prayed aloud and don\u2019t know how to pray. For the type A personality, the word is \u201cImpatience,\u201d because this person sees prayer as a duty to perform and quickly complete, so that they can get to the real work. Yet, for some people, prayer is the most powerful, intimate and wonderful activity in which a believer can engage.
